Jerry Jones Ranked 10th, GM Power Rankings

Jerry beaming with pride!

The NFL released their General Managers power rankings list, and Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys and if you didn't know that then WTF are you doing reading this article, but ya, anyway, he made the top 10!

Go Jerry! I'm sure it hurts to see Howie Roseman, owner of the disgusting Eagles, sit at the top of the list.

They came up with the list by judging the draft record, coaching hires, free agency spending, cap management, trades, and even handling the press.

Who's last on the list? George Paton, owner of the Denver Broncos. The guy who just made that shitty trade for Wilson. Yea, the same guy who hired Hackett. So, well earned.

"Big Plans" For Michael Gallup

MG likes the sound of that.

Mike McCarthy says he has some “big plans” for wide receiver Michael Gallup.

McCarthy said he will feature Gallup more in the offense. MG is entering his 6th year in the NFL after a ho-hum 2022 season.

He should be able to leave that 2021 ACL tear in the past and bounce back—which is perfect timing, too, with the arrival of Brandin Cooks.

Cowboys “Not Done” At Tight End

Luke Schoonmaker could “schoon”ly find himself on the Dallas Cowboys.

There is a good chance that the Dallas Cowboys add to their Clone Zone roster of tight ends by drafting a new edition.

While stand out TE's like Mayer and Kincaid have some potential to be available with the 26th overall pick, the majority of Cowboys Nation seems to turn their nose up at the idea of drafting one too early.

A handful of quality tight ends are available in later rounds, though, like big 6'7 Darnell Washington from Georgia and Luke Schoonmaker who can block, catch, and run.

Unless their back is to a wall, I don't think the Cowboys go TE first, because in a pinch I think they go offensive line. But I do think the Dallas Cowboys pull the trigger and pick up another tight end to add to the mix.

Mock Draft 8.0 With Tiktok's @DallasCowboyChris

We did a mock draft with our brother Dallas Cowboy Chris.

The response has been a bit mixed, especially when you consider we moved up to 15 to draft Bijan Robinson, and traded away our 2024 2nd round pick to do it.

But we really believed in the dude! We think he can change an offense overnight, and so we couldn't wait.

With our second round pick, we went Defensive Intorior. Half of this was based on Best Player Available, the other half was that although Jonathan Hankins is back for another year, it would be nice to feel more comfotable when looking into the future, and so we picked Siaki Ika out of Baylor.

A dude we love, we went with Guard Chandler Zavala in the third. There was some debate here. Chris is a UMICH guy and he was worried that Olusegun Oluwatimi, Center, wasn't going to be available in the 4th round.

After some deliberation, we went with Zavala, and luckily when the 4th round rolled up, Double O was still on the board.

We snagged two solid offensive linemen!

With only one pick remaining, we made a trade so we could draft a QB at 171 in Stetson Bennett. We figured with 2 national championships, the guy knows what it takes to be a winner.

Then finally, finished with linebacker Aubrey Miller Jr., which was a stretch, but we wanted the next best linebacker and felt that AMJ was that guy!
