NFL Draft Prospects | Top 11-20 | EJ Savage Big Board @BoysNtheZone

11. Nolan Smith

Underwhelmed statistically, but he possesses all the tools and bend to be an elite speed rusher at the next level. Surprisingly good at run defense as well for his body type. He’s also a 2 time champ, and a known leader in the locker room.

12. Lukas Van Ness

Hurt by a lack of playing time and a strange coaching philosophy, Van Ness is a trait’s based rusher with the size and athleticism to be a really good run and pass defender at the next level. Very impressive at the combine, and he has decent tape despite the lack of reps during a game.

13. Paris Johnson

Johnson has really nice power and movement ability for a tackle at the next level, good patience and overall know how to be a great LT for the future.

14. Brian Branch

Branch is a safety/slot corner hybrid player for Alabama, he’s great in the box coming up and making tackles, but he’s also solid at covering in nickel packages. For me, he’d be a safety because he doesn’t run as fast as I’d like, but overall he’s a great versatile player that can be a plug and play starter on most teams.

15. Jordan Addison

My number 1 WR in this class, he has a mix of route running ability and play making ability that makes him a tough cover for anyone. He can be utilized in the screen game or go deep over the top, wins at every level, and has nice hands. High-end number 2 at the next level.

16. Dalton Kincaid

Huge catch radius, decent blocker, but amazing after the catch, causing missed tackles at the TE position. Can be a huge mismatch at the next level in the receiving game.

17. Jaxson Smith-Njigba

Last of my 1st round grades, Njigba is a really crafty and twitchy route runner, that creates separation of easily. He’s got great hands and his only real knock is he isn’t an elite NFL-athlete. He can be a high-end number 2 or a dominant slot receiver.

18. Jahmyr Gibbs 1st/2nd

Gibbs is probably the best receiving back in this draft, he’s got legit speed, hands, and shiftiness in the open field. He’s also a better inside running back than people give him credit for.

19. Deonte Banks 1st/2nd

Competitive/Physical cover corner that excels in press man. He has great size and weight to compete with bigger WRs, but he’s surprisingly smooth when dealing with quicker. Shifty guys as well. Lacks ball production, but he’ll be a plug and play starter.

20. Emmanuel Forbes 1st/2nd

Ball Hawk corner, that’s great with things out in front of him. He needs to add weight, but he can be an elite corner at the next level with his length/athleticism/ and play making ability on defense.
